Here is where I went (Blue trace) - Basically up the Brunei River to on of the feeder streams - then slowly along the right side of the river, proceed while looking for action in the tree branches. Finally we went up a small canal, got out and waited. The wait was well worth it.
For gear - I used the 70-300 m VR Nikon lens with a UV filter. Something spooky going on with the circular polarizing filter that is not totally understood by me - more later.
