Each Saturday morning (at least most Saturday mornings) Wang Yang comes to my place and off we go with our curious eyes turned on. We practice English in a not-so-dull-and-boring way. We talk about what our curious eyes see. Wang Yang is learning that to be really really good, as a business man or scientist or bus driver or doctor, you must have a highly developed sense of curiosity. Our laboratory is the small forest across Margaret Drive from Queensway Secondary School.
Wang Yang like to take photos of himself. Since he does not have eyes in the back of his head, he did not know that I was also in the photo. This is the first photo of Frank and his friend, Wang Yang
Wang Yang and his curious eyes noticed the pattern of dew drops on this leaf
then we found a Nephila - golden silk spider. See the golden color of her silk?
Here she hung dinner out to keep for dinner time
This is a young spider and here you can see her exoskeleton - from her previous molt. Probably yesterday

Wang Yang spotted this lizard - score one for his curious eyes
Here is a good photo of the lizard
After our photo shoot, we always visit the food court. Wang Yang gets sugar cane juice WITHOUT ICE, and I get lime juice WITH ICE. I like to suck on the ice after finishing the lime juice. We always see the same lady. The lime juice lady is kind and talks with us in Mandarin. Wang Yang understands everything, I understand nothing.
